Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using OCD Race Labs (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. We may update these Terms; if we do, we'll notify you by email or in-app at least 14 days before changes take effect.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By signing up, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. The Service
OCD Race Labs is a training journal and race intelligence tool for downhill, enduro, and trail mountain bike riders. It lets you log bikes, components, setup snapshots, sessions, runs, and rider feedback.
The Service is in alpha. Features may change, data may be lost, and bugs may exist. Don't use it as your only source of truth for critical race data.
4. Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at rodrigo@ocdracelabs.com.
One person, one account. Don't share accounts. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Your Content
Everything you log on OCD Race Labs (bike setups, session notes, runs, feedback, photos, voice notes) is your content. You own it.
By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Store, display, and process your content to provide the Service to you and to people you explicitly share with (coaches, mechanics, teammates).
- Process your content in aggregated, anonymized form for analytics, product development, machine learning, market intelligence, industry reports, and partner programs — as described in our Privacy Policy.
We don't use your content for personalized advertising or sell your personally identifiable data.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal activity
- Upload content you don't have rights to (e.g. someone else's photos)
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
- Scrape, mass-download, or resell data
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it, including how we work with aggregated and anonymized data for analytics, ML training, and partner programs. Using the Service means you've read and agree to it.
8. Intellectual Property
The OCD Race Labs name, logo, design, and software are ours. You can't use them in your own products without written permission. The catalogs we maintain (bikes, components, geometry data) are compiled from public sources and our own research and may not be copied or redistributed for commercial use. Aggregated insights and reports we produce from the user base are our intellectual property.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Geometry data, setup recommendations, and any analysis or intelligence outputs are informational only — they are not professional advice. You are responsible for verifying any data before acting on it, especially anything that affects bike safety or race performance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OCD Race Labs and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, lost profits, injury, or property damage. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, for alpha users, is zero).
11. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from your account settings (coming soon) or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. On termination, we'll delete your personal data within 30 days unless we're required to retain it by law. Aggregated, anonymized data already incorporated into our analytics or models is not affected by account deletion.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Chile. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Santiago, Chile, unless local consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
